I had gotten a bit attached to the founder of this legacy, So here is Rhyden Lee! All of her traits were rolled randomly, and is Neat, Natural Cook, Charismatic, Brave, and Easily Impressed. Her Lifetime wish is to be a Culinary Librarian. She lives on the edge of Sunnyside Strand in a small house that i had built for her. Get ready from some pics of the house!

Ugh, I love this view so much!
So lets get started!

One of the first things that i had done when i moved here was breaking in the new bed. It looked to stiff for someone to lay on the first night. So I just layed in bed and pulled out one of the beginner cook books that i had packed along with my furniture. I haven't really studied Culinary all to much. I just moved to Sunset valley on impact, i couldn't stay with my parents who kept bugging me about leaving and getting out on my own.
Well now that i am, What do i do now?
I had left most of my friends and family back in riverview, taking just enough simoleons to get back for the new month or two. That means i have to find a job soon and work my way back up. I put the book down and slid it under the bed, not feeling up to putting it back in the bookcase. I just know it's going to bother me while i sleep. Probably haunt my dreams if i don't put it back where it belongs. I felt an air bubble starting to come up and i opened my mouth wide to let out a large yawn. I'm going to have to put the book away in the morning, right now, i need all the sleep that i can get before i go out to go job shopping.

When i had woken up, i was more energized than i was last night. I admit i was a bit groggy, but that's only because i haven't had my morning breakfast just yet. I had walked outside my bedroom only to be hit with the fresh smell of the ocean and the cool breeze in the morning. The best thing about this small house is that you have to walk outside in order to get to the bathroom and kitchen. I must say, i love walking out and seeing the ocean. I could get used to this. Only bad thing about this is that when it rains, i am going to get soaking wet when i come out here. I giggle to myself at the picture in my head as i grabbed the morning newspaper and headed up stairs.
Making my way to the fridge, i yawned to myself, putting the bundle of papers on the dining table. I look around in the fridge, trying to figure out what to make for breakfast this morning. I settle for some pancakes and reached out and grabbed the basic necessities and a couple grapes for one serving.

I stared at the small mess of ingredients, and started to make the pancakes by memory. I had to say that they were pretty good. Well, for an amateur cook. I'm sure i will improve on it within i week or two if i just keep cooking my meals from scratch. While i was eating my pancakes, i looked through the newspaper. Oh, i just got lucky. There was an opening at the bistro, and since i am a bit of a food fan, i took up the job. Work began at 3 which gave me plenty of time for my morning routine.
I turned my head to look in the kitchen, not seeing a sink built in, which was a bit silly a bit. I grabbed my cleaned off plate that had a couple small puddles that was left over, and headed up another flight of stairs. I cleaned my plate in the sink that was in the bathroom. I am going to have to hire someone to install a downstairs sink. Putting that idea to the side, i hopped in the shower and finished cleaning up. I then turned on my tablet and put the earpiece on, listening to the podcast that came on. Everything was going all fine and dandy until the toilet decided to clog up.

lmao She has a sink now.

Just great! I looked at the time on my tab and since i had enough time before i headed off to work. I had started on unclogging the new toilet. I don't know, this was the first time that i had used it. I sighed to myself as i straightened back up. I finished up my work in the bathroom and started to head down two flights of stairs. Off to my first day of work!

I started to run up the hill, passing my neighbors house on the way. Running up that hill does take some energy out of me, one of other downers of this house. I Whistled and yelled out for a taxi and they took me to the bistro. I stood outside and greeted some of my co-workers that were also waiting until their shift started. They all seemed so nice and pleasant to work with. I had only talked to a select few but i can always meet the others while i am working.
Once my shift was over, i headed on home and fell flat on my bed. I was so beat once i made it home, i am going to have to change up my sleeping schedule just a bit if i want to keep up with this. I slowly fell asleep, smelling like leftover spaghetti from the restaurant.

The next morning, i had followed the same routine in the morning. I made pancakes again, but this time with apples. I am sure you already know what i am going to do. Shower, toilet, work, sleep. Nothing to exciting.
Next morning, i slept in just a bit since i didn't have work today or tomorrow. Once i had cleaned myself and everything, fixing the sink and toilet since i broke the both of them at the same time. My luck the past few days.

I then took a taxi up to the park, getting some new scenery other than the ocean view. The park was pretty nice once i had got there. So many people were their idling around or talking to each other. The only person that i had seen that wasn't talking to anyone. He seemed to be in a pretty intense game with himself of chess. I casually walked over to the blue haired man and silently watched him play alone for a while before i spoke up.
"You seem to be in a heated game with yourself," i spoke, bringing his attention over to myself. "You don't mind if i join in with you, do you?" He shakes his head and motions me to sit across from him as he sets the board up again. I had no experience over chess so i just winged it. Blushing every time i made a wrong move, he would point it out and explained it to me. I could tell that he was going easy on me, knowing that i was a rookie.

Hello a potential husband that i had created with others.
"Checkmate!" I exclaimed, jumping out of my seat. He followed me with his eyes, waiting for me to stop my victory gloat. " I want a rematch!" I announced as i sat back down in the seat across from him. I knew that he had gone easy on my and gave me all the winning moves. "You went easy on me! Well, now that i know the basics, it should be somewhat of a fair match!"
He laughed, " Sure, sure, I wont go so easy on you this time." He began setting up the board again, glancing at me with each placement of pawn. "I'm Mason , by the way."
"Rhyden Lee, I'm glad that i met you, Mason." We both exchange nervous glances before we went back to the game that had been untouched since he set it up. We continue with the game for a while, we had played a few more rounds, each time he had beaten me. The both of us agreed to stop playing and decided to walk around the park for a bit.

"So Mason, tell me about yourself," i started off with something so basic as we walked in circles around the fountain. He scratched the back of his head, trying to think of what to say. I raised a brow as i waited for him to speak.
"Well, i am in the medical career. I just got the job today actually and came to the park afterwards to play some chess." He shrugs as if it isn't such a big deal, when he looked back at me, i had a large smile on my lips. I brought my hands together and placed them in front of myself.
"Get out! That's such a cool job to get into! Helping, and Saving lives!" I playfully nudged his arm as i placed my behind my back. "Don't say it so casually!" He gave an embarrassing chuckled and rubbed the arm that i had nudge. My smile widened at his laughed. I couldn't help myself from following up his laugh with my own, it was quite contagious.

From there on, we continued to laugh and goof around. People would stop and stare at us, sometimes giving us a displeasing looks for laughing so loud. I must say he had an adorable laugh when he did, makes me want to tell jokes more often just for him. And i did.

Well if that's what you want, Rhy. Soon.

I had a small flutter in my chest as our laughter died down. We stopped walking around and just looked at each other, waiting for one or the other to speak. We just seemed to both stand awkwardly and look around, avoiding each other eyes. Finally, i am the one that speaks up first.

"You know, I'm glad that i had met you today, Mason. I may not have been here for long but this is the best day i have had here!" I smile at him as he agrees with me, "But it's getting pretty late and i am pretty sure you have to wake up early tomorrow."
"Yeah, I wish i had more time to talk to you, but there's always tomorrow or later on in the week."
"Of course!" I opened up my arms wide and he seemed to get the hint.

We both hugged each other and said our goodbyes before we had both parted ways.
When i had gotten home, i had a big smile on my face that i haven't had on since i moved out here.I made my way in the house and sat on the bed. I stared at the wall across from myself. I squeal came out shortly after as i fell back into the bed, slowly falling asleep to start off a new day.

aww, Rhy Baby is in love~
When i had woken up, i continued my regular routine, except i was a bit more anxious than usual. When i was done with cleaning the house, i picked up the phone, planning on inviting Mason over. Before i could even dial his number that he gave to me before he left, it started to ring. The rest of the day was spent running errands. Once i was done with one, someone would call me up and ask for another. When i finally made it back home, the sun had started to set. I stopped to look at the setting sun. When i turned to head on inside, i noticed that some mail had came while i was gone.

I pulled out a couple bills that were in there and a small letter that smelled like perfume. The familiar scented envelope was the first thing i had opened. My eyes scanned over the paper, reading over everything until i finished the letter. No wonder the smell seemed so familiar. My sister had sent me a letter, letting me know that she was also coming to Sunset Valley. I grin to myself, i could not wait to see her again. In just a couple weeks, she should arriving. I stood on the tips of my toes as i finished up paying for the bills and setting them back inside the mailbox.
The sound of crunching sand pulled my attention away from the mail and to the source.

"Mason?" I quickly closed the mail box and smiled up at him, "What are you doing here?" I asked as i straightened back up.
Alright, i amg going to leave it here! This was my first time actually doing this so i hope you enjoyed it!
